Bio: I am dedicated to creating a warm, non judgmental, and collaborative space to help you rediscover your wisdom, process difficult material, and heal from trauma. I understand that life can bring about a number of painful and challenging experiences, often leaving us deeply impacted. While these moments can have a lasting effect on our relationships, therapy can help us find new ways of understanding our experiences and can help us rediscover our strengths as we move toward healing. I have extensive experience providing therapy to adults, emerging adults, couples, LGBTQI+, and culturally and ethnically diverse populations. I am trained in Gottman Couples Therapy, EMDR, Art Therapy and Mindfulness-based Therapy.

Specialties: I specialize in treating trauma/post-traumatic stress, marital conflict, depression, anxiety, life transitions, and provide parenting tools and support.

She/her/hers

Bio: I am a psychotherapist who works with adults, children, couples and families. I hold a Master’s Degree in Counseling with an emphasis on Clinical Mental Health, which I obtained from Antioch University in 2016. I completed my practicum and internship hours at the YWCA in Snohomish County. I have also worked at Rain City Integrative Clinic and been in private practice. An important part of my counseling identity is being an advocate for social justice. I take a client-centered approach to therapy. I am originally from Chicago, but have lived in Seattle for the last 12 years. I am mom to a six and two year old. I enjoy hiking, biking, kayaking, skiing, gardening- basically anything that allows me to get out and enjoy nature. I also enjoy cooking, writing, traveling, and photography. My friends describe me as quirky, fun, and easy to talk to. I draw from my Irish heritage to build humor into my life and try not to take myself too seriously. I believe one of life’s most important challenges is learning to embrace imperfection.

Specialities: I draw from a variety of perspectives to inform how I work with individuals and families, and I adjust my approach based on the needs and goals of each client. I use a feminist approach to ensure I am considering the cultural and contextual factors that influence my clients’ experiences. My therapy is always trauma informed, and I am trained in Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, a somatic model that can be utilized to work through the chronic effects of trauma.

Bio: I work with people who are struggling with where they are and are looking for support to ease their burdens. It can be scary and lonely to hold all your challenges to yourself and I want to work with you to create a space where you feel seen and safe enough to work through what you're dealing with together. You have gotten yourself this far by using the many strengths within you, and together we can build on those skills and explore what best serves you for the life you want to live. I believe that we learn and heal in relationships with others and that building a therapeutic relationship with a counselor that feels non-judgmental and supportive can be transformative. By expressing yourself and walking through your life's stories together we will work collaboratively to better understand your experiences and the cycles that may be contributing to anxiety, depression, and relationship conflicts. I work from an eclectic approach with a focus on what best suits your needs and facilitates self-compassion, empowerment, and peace.
